Album AR is a content designed to increase the value of the physical album through AR technology, that allows fans to enjoy the singer's music video in a different way. The project was part of the KT Super VR Engineering program, where it was finally evaluated as one of the most valuable contents.

Overview

The Challenge - As the digital wave got bigger and streaming services thrive, markets for physical albums decreased in their values. In Korea (2020), approximately 51% of average individual purchase for physical album was decreased and found out that people reconize it more as a merchandise merely for fans. Thus, we wanted to find a way to add value to the physical album with a digital solution.
